This was repeated when we had to say goodbye to our good friends Shauna and Aaron JacksonCrabb.
| Saying Good Bye |
They were our neighbors living just two doors down. When we knew no one here and were not good at socializing, they would randomly knock on our door and invite us to play cards or board games at their house. We started inviting them over for such events too. Shauna would show up in her slippers and fluffy purple bathrobe. We would always bring our own beverages. "Hey Shauna, would you like some water?"
"No, I brought my own."
At work Shauna became the 1-9 coordinator and created DIGG (Developing Interesting Games Group). Chris and I could not wait to join this group, because we knew that if Shauna was in charge it was going to be interesting. We had so much fun working with her, developing new games, and fixing old ones.
Shauna and I started working out together at the gym. That was quite intimidating. She was skinny and by my standards in shape. Where I was, well lets just say at the time I hadn't exercised in a while. She taught me what I needed to do and was patient when it took me forever to do it, or in the case of push ups, was unable to do them.
Recently Shauna and Aaron decided to move back to Canada. Aaron got hired as a reporter there and off they went. We were sad to see them leave, but know that God has great plans for them in Canada.
