We all want to help in Haiti. It has been really hard trying to choose the right organization to donate to. My friends Ruth Ann Rowen, RN and Dr. Pat Quintal are going to Haiti on February 21st. I am asking you to please send money to help with this trip if you are able. I have chosen to support them because they are dear friends, I know exactly where the money is going and that every penny of the money will go to help the people of Haiti and I have already seen the great work that they have done to help people there. They are going specifically to provide medical help.
Ruth Ann and her team have been on Medical Mission Trips to Haiti twice before. They went through an organization called Lifeline. www.Lifeline.org. While in Haiti they worked in a medical clinic in a town where the earthquake hit. The compound that houses the clinic survived because it was built by American building codes.
