When in Korea don't always do as the Koreans

Buildings get built super quick here in Korea. We decided that it's because they don't have as many saftey regulations or lawyers. It was strange to walk down the street and see guys in a tall crane working on a building without blocking the area off. I started to have the dilemma of "do I walk under or do I detour an entire block to avoid a crane that may or may not drop to 2 ton sign on my head." I decided when in Korea do as the Koreans. They all walked under the cranes with no concern, so I started walking under the cranes. Please note it made me nervous, but I figured that since they don't have the area taped off they must be extra careful.

Please note from the picture below that I will no longer be walking under any crane in ANY country.
